Verification routine

Check the live listing before you rely on it

A directory entry can help you discover a product. The live record is where changing details must be confirmed.

01

Does the page still resolve to the intended product?

Confirm that the title, visible item and seller context still match the product lead you saved. A reused or changed listing URL is not the same product record.

02

Which option is actually selected?

Read the selected colour, size, configuration or bundle. Do not assume the default option is the option you meant to compare.

03

What is current rather than historic?

Check the price, stock indication, seller notes and measurements on the live page. Record the date if any of these details affect your decision.

04

What does the page prove visually?

Use current images to verify visible shape, material notes, measurements or included parts. Keep a separate note for anything the listing does not establish.

Use this note format

Known now

Selected option, price, seller details and the date checked.

Visible evidence

What the current images or size table actually show.

Need to verify

One missing detail to check before a product or parcel decision.

This routine does not guarantee stock, price, quality, delivery eligibility or a future outcome. It helps separate the live information you can see from the information you still need to confirm.
