Before you compare

How to research t-shirts.

T-shirts are simple to browse but easy to compare badly. Start with the silhouette you want: fitted, regular, boxy or oversized. Then compare chest width, body length, sleeve length and collar proportion. Similar artwork does not mean two shirts will sit the same on the body or use the same fabric weight.

Use images to inspect print placement, neck ribbing and the shape of the shoulder seam. A front mockup is not enough for a confident comparison. When you shortlist an item, note the selected colour and any measurement chart, then verify the current option and seller details on the live page.

Fit and sizing

Measure a favourite T-shirt flat across the chest and from collar to hem. A few centimetres in length can noticeably change a boxy or cropped fit, so do not choose only from S, M or L labels.

QC boundaries

QC can show print alignment, visible colour, seams and collar shape. It cannot confirm whether a print will crack, how much a shirt may shrink or whether the fabric will feel heavy or soft.

Materials and construction

Look for neck tape, double stitching at hems and the join between sleeves and body. Photos can suggest construction, but the live listing remains the place to verify fabric and care details.
